Senior Consultant - Cybersecurity

Location: New York, USA; hybrid workplace with management expected in the office at least three days per week

Base salary: $130,600–$135,700 per year, plus annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end cybersecurity projects and sub-projects within complex or international engagements.
• Report proactively to managers and clients, ensuring delivery commitments, quality, and deadlines are met.
• Contribute to commercial proposals, business development, and identification of new clients and opportunities.
• Manage client relationships and act as a cybersecurity expert across assigned engagements.
• Manage consultants, validate deliverables, evaluate performance, and support technical and soft-skill development.
• Contribute to cybersecurity learning initiatives, publications, webinars, events, and professional communities.

Requirements

• Cybersecurity or related degree and at least three years of experience at a consulting firm, cybersecurity provider, or systems integrator.
• Experience with at least two cybersecurity offerings, including strategy, risk, compliance, operations, data protection, offensive security, resilience, or training.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as ISO 270xx, NIST, NYDFS, and FFIEC.
• General knowledge of IP networks, Unix/Linux, Windows or macOS, AWS, Azure or GCP, web applications, databases, middleware, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, VPN, proxy and reverse proxy, EDR, IAM, MDM, DLP, CASB, and Office 365 Security solutions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; this position does not offer employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, Security+, OSCP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, SANS certifications, ISO certifications, AWS Certified Security, or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer.
• Knowledge of blockchain.
• Willingness to obtain industry or cybersecurity certifications.
