Principal Consultant – SOC Transformation & XSIAM Deployment (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, Pennsylvania, United States of America; travel up to 30% required

Salary: $163,000–$224,500 per year, plus potential bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Act as the lead strategic advisor and subject matter expert for enterprise SOC modernization programs using XSIAM.
• Lead multinational SOC transformation initiatives, consolidating fragmented detection and response processes into a unified AI-driven platform.
• Direct XSIAM deployments from initial strategy through full operationalization.
• Design and oversee log ingestion strategies to provide high-quality data for the XSIAM platform.
• Architect, implement, fine-tune, and optimize detection strategies and correlation rules.
• Improve analyst alert handling and response through automation while building and mentoring professional services teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and integrating SIEM or security analytics solutions in large enterprise environments.
• 8+ years of experience with SOC tooling, processes, and workflows.
• Technical mastery of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
• Experience modernizing SOCs with automation, AI-driven detection, and measurable MTTD/MTTR improvements.
• Ability to architect and develop effective correlation and detection rules.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, from SOC analysts to CISOs, with willingness to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP or GIAC.
• Familiarity with SIEM technologies including Splunk and IBM QRadar.
