People Operations Generalist

Location: Onsite at the facility in Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $120K–$138K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Administer employee benefits, life events, and open enrollment.
• Monitor federal, state, and local employment-law changes and manage required reporting and documentation.
• Draft policies, update the employee handbook, and support HR program implementation.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Support employees across multiple states and countries while providing responsive People Operations support.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in HR compliance and benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, and related employment-law requirements.
• Experience administering benefits programs and managing employee life events and open enrollment.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems and accurate employee data maintenance.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
• Applicants must provide documentation establishing U.S. person or non-U.S. person status for access to export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS workflows and processes.
• Experience with multi-state employment law.
