People Generalist (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; based in or willing to work from the San Francisco HQ five days a week

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annual base salary, plus equity

hirify.global is an early-stage AI-native automation company building intelligent agents that execute enterprise workflows across functions including IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering.

What you will do

• Own core HR operations, including employee records, HRIS administration, data integrity, compliance, documentation, and scalable People processes.
• Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and commuter benefits, including open enrollment and qualifying life events.
• Manage onboarding from signed offer through the first 90 days, including paperwork, I-9/E-Verify, benefits enrollment, and day-one readiness.
• Partner with Recruiting, IT, Finance, and brokers on onboarding, compensation changes, offer approvals, headcount tracking, and benefits administration.
• Improve employee experience across onboarding, lifecycle moments, and offboarding.
• Automate onboarding, benefits changes, and recurring People requests using hirify.global's platform.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles.
• Hands-on experience administering benefits and managing HR operations end to end.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Gusto, Workday, or similar.
• Understanding of federal and California employment, benefits, and wage-and-hour rules, including COBRA, ACA, and ERISA.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
• Based in or willing to work from the San Francisco HQ five days a week.

• Experience as an early or first People hire at a startup.
