Account Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of new and early-stage customers, accelerating implementation, time-to-value, platform adoption, and account growth.
• Advise customers on data strategy, technology-stack integration, Snowflake architecture, workload isolation, warehouse utilization, monitoring, budgeting, and RBAC/security setup.
• Use AI-powered development tools and coding agents to accelerate solution delivery and implementation guidance.
• Partner with account teams, Professional Services, Support, Product Management, Engineering, and external partners to coordinate resources and resolve risks.
• Create reusable customer programs, including hands-on labs and webinars, focused on platform capabilities and data best practices.
• Support demos, troubleshoot customer issues, triage inquiries, and identify expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• Hands-on SQL experience.
• Strong foundation in data architecture, data analytics, and major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive customers toward agreed timelines using project management skills.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical technical experience.
• Strong desire to develop expertise in the Snowflake platform and use AI-powered development tools.

Nice to have

• SnowPro Core certification.
• Experience with Python, Java, or Scala in data or application development.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, orchestration tools, or data science concepts.
• Interest in using AI-powered development tools and coding agents to improve delivery efficiency.
