Software Engineer (AI Operations)

Location: Boston office, onsite 5 days per week; applicants must be eligible to work in the US

Base salary: $188,640–$247,590 per year

Suno is an AI music and creative entertainment company building a platform for creating and sharing music.

What you will do

• Build agents, workflows, and custom tools that help non-engineering teams scale without additional headcount.
• Evaluate third-party tools and decide whether to buy or build solutions.
• Contribute to and improve the self-service application deployment platform.
• Design internal API, authentication, and MCP patterns beyond the Django monolith.
• Integrate and scale customer experience systems, including Zendesk-based solutions.
• Partner with customer experience, legal, finance, people, and content operations to identify new challenges.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building, maintaining, and supporting internal tools or systems that streamline engineering or business operations.
• Interest in learning and sharing agentic coding practices and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in an early-stage 0→1 environment.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Availability to work onsite in the designated Boston office 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Familiarity with evaluation or observability tools such as LangSmith or Braintrust.
• Experience with support tools, CRM systems, or workflow automation platforms.
