Software Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States, with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; working from home on Wednesday is generally available, while Friday depends on the work and partner teams.

Base salary: $202,000–$299,000 per year. Additional compensation may include equity, sales incentive pay for applicable roles, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build full-stack systems and product surfaces that enable users to guide and work alongside AI Teammates.
• Develop user-facing experiences for teams, administrators, and individual users, including discovery, interaction, deployment, and management.
• Collaborate with product, design, platform, and foundation teams to turn AI capabilities into intuitive product features.
• Design interaction patterns such as conversational flows, human-in-the-loop workflows, and context-aware experiences.
• Use rapid experimentation and product judgment to improve quality, usability, user trust, and measurable impact.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working across the stack in large, well-maintained codebases.
• Experience building product features in complex technical domains.
• Ability to scope and deliver impactful features collaboratively.
• Strong structure, judgment, communication, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies, with willingness to learn and apply them to improve productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience with applied AI, prompting systems, evaluation or testing infrastructure, or agent-style workflows.
