Corporates Ratings- Analyst/Senior Analyst (Credit Ratings)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid schedule with office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

What you will do

• Prepare internal credit memoranda, analyze cash flows, perform sector analysis, and contribute to published credit reports.
• Analyze and sensitize complex Excel-based financial models.
• Participate in issuer and investor meetings, explain rating methodologies, and discuss industry trends.
• Conduct sector research for investors and lenders across private credit, direct lending, and public debt markets.
• Help develop and improve rating processes and analytical tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline supporting strong qualitative and quantitative analysis and writing; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Two to three years of experience as a financial analyst at a bank or other financial institution.
• Strong quantitative skills, experience with Excel, and proficiency in corporate financial statement analysis.
• Ability to conduct due diligence and interact with clients during the rating process.
• Interest and relevant experience in ratings, fixed income research, origination, or capital markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Nice to have

• Prior fundamental credit training, including financial statement analysis.
