Quality Control Technician - Weekend Day Shift (Fri.-Sun. 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)

Location: Fort Payne, Alabama, United States; 100% onsite. Weekend day shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.

What you will do

• Verify incoming materials, in-process components, finished products, and quality records through inspections, testing, and audits.
• Perform dimensional inspections, laboratory testing, calibration activities, and other quality verification tasks.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications while using precision measurement equipment.
• Document nonconformances, inspection results, audit findings, and supporting photographs in electronic systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams on investigations, corrective actions, and prevention of nonconforming products.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, training, and quality-related events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience is preferred, including calibration or material testing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, thickness gauges, and verniers.
• Digital literacy with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn SAP and quality management platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
