Calibration Technician

Location: North Billerica, Massachusetts, USA; laboratory and customer-site work with 25–50% travel.

Salary: $20.00–$29.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide calibration services in the laboratory and at customer sites.
• Perform measurement, temperature, torque, pressure, force, and dimensional calibrations.
• Use appropriate measurement techniques and maintain calibration standards.
• Work with mechanical, physical, and electronic inspection and testing equipment.
• Travel to customer locations for approximately 25–50% of the work schedule.
• Follow company safety requirements and calibration standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience calibrating mechanical or electronic measuring, inspection, and testing equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical education is preferred.
• Knowledge of algebra, geometry, statistics, basic hand tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work 40 or more hours per week, including overtime when needed, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen required.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in PMEL, PME, TMDE, metrology, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GPETE, electronics, GCAMS, or avionics.
• Commercial or military calibration experience.
