In-Process Inspector (Weekend)

Location: Hollister, California, United States; onsite weekend shift. Weekend hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. US citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements. The role is subject to U.S. export control regulations and requires candidates to be U.S. Persons or obtain the necessary government authorizations.

Salary: $18.61–$34.57 per hour, plus eligibility for a performance-based quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Perform repetitive dimensional, mechanical, and electrical inspections using established procedures and basic test equipment.
• Use calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and electrical test equipment to verify product quality.
• Interpret engineering drawings and written work instructions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports while applying strong attention to detail.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams and customer representatives as needed.
• Plan and complete assigned inspections efficiently, minimizing production delays and attending offsite certification training when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing or quality preferred.
• Proficiency with mechanical measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and written instructions accurately.
• Strong written, verbal, mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English and document work instructions and reports in English.

Nice to have

• IPC or J-Standard certification.
• Experience maintaining certification requirements such as J-STD.
