AI Delivery Lead

What you will do

• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of AI-assisted development and AI-enabled delivery practices across engineering teams.
• Partner with Engineering, SQA, Product Management, Architecture, and DevOps across planning, development, testing, and release.
• Improve backlog readiness, sprint planning, dependency management, delivery predictability, and engineering workflows.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation across requirements analysis, development, testing, documentation, and delivery.
• Strengthen API and UI test automation and integrate automated quality practices into feature delivery.
• Define delivery metrics covering cycle time, rework, automation coverage, manual test reduction, quality, and AI adoption.

Requirements

• Experience leading software delivery across cross-functional Engineering, Product, SQA, Architecture, and DevOps teams.
• Experience introducing or scaling AI-assisted development, AI-enabled delivery, or AI-SDLC practices with measurable results.
• Strong Agile delivery experience, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, release management, risk management, and dependency management.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and software quality practices.
• Practical understanding of AI-assisted development tools, agents, workflows, prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Ability to work hands-on with engineers, SDETs, Product Managers, architects, and DevOps teams while communicating outcomes to senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with API testing, UI automation, CI/CD, and continuous testing.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, regulated SaaS, or other regulated environments.
• Experience building dashboards and metrics for engineering productivity, quality, delivery flow, and AI adoption.
