Electrical Technician (Industrial Automation)

Location: Arecibo, Puerto Rico; onsite work required. Candidates must already have US work authorization.

What you will do

• Respond to equipment emergencies and production breakdowns.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
• Install, repair, and replace motors, sensors, drives, switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels.
• Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and automation schematics.
• Carry out testing, calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipment.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic English and good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation systems, including knowledge of motors, inverters, sensors, and PLC fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Existing US work authorization is required; availability for night shifts, weekends, and continuous shift schedules is required.
