Electrical Maintenance Technician (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: 513 Hwy 74 S, Peachtree City, GA 30269, USA; onsite, C shift nights, Monday-Sunday 6pm-6am, 4 days on/4 days off

Salary: $36.22-$47.66 per hour, plus a $2 per hour shift differential

What you will do

• Diagnose failures and repair electrical, mechanical, control, and facility equipment supporting plant production lines.
• Repair and maintain PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, switches, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems, alarms, conveyors, and automated machinery.
• Install and modify wiring, power, lighting, electronic, control circuits, and electrical conduit using schematics and technical drawings.
• Respond to emergency and unplanned downtime, improvise safe temporary fixes, and restore equipment operation promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, testing, equipment preparation, and maintenance documentation.
• Support engineers, production teams, contractors, capital projects, process improvements, and facility services including HVAC and grounds maintenance.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of industrial or related maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial machine repair, reliability techniques, machine tools, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read prints, schematics, layouts, technical drawings, and operational documentation.
• Strong safety focus, including compliance with plant policies and OSHA regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication, computer skills, teamwork, initiative, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, respond to short-notice requests, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, or Automated Manufacturing.
• Journeyman’s card.
• More than 10 years of broad mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
