Integration and Test Engineer (Space Systems)

Location: On site at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a hybrid option. Travel under 10%.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead reporting to the RAPID Chief Engineer and Program Manager.
• Lead technical interchange meetings, design reviews, stakeholder briefings, and discussions with government program offices.
• Develop and manage unit-, subsystem-, and system-level verification requirements.
• Define and manage end-to-end test objectives and integration activities.
• Coordinate integration and test schedules and execution across multiple vendors.
• Communicate technical status and risk posture to program and customer leadership.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of relevant technical engineering experience.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, software development, or network engineering.
• Experience leading integration and test campaigns for complex IT or software systems, with strong communication, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Familiarity with defense acquisition processes or similar government frameworks.
• Experience with space systems, satellite communications, or secure ground systems.
• Experience working with senior government or military leadership.
