Project Manager I (Aerospace)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; hybrid work environment balancing office and remote work

Estimated starting salary: $94,345.12–$129,724.54 per year, plus annual performance incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manage projects from initiation and design through execution, release, delivery, and closeout.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and performance indicators.
• Identify project resource needs and coordinate resource allocation.
• Interface with internal and external customers and field-based employees on technical matters.
• Track milestones, budgets, risks, and scope, and prepare project status reports for stakeholders.
• Serve as a Control Account Manager on larger programs when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; six years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least two years of project management or related technical experience, excluding internships.
• Experience managing a project and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, organization, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and travel as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management tools.
• Experience with budgets, scope management, resource planning, and risk management.
• Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.
