CNC Machinist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture complex precision components using approved programs, tooling, fixtures, and procedures.
• Perform machine offsets, tooling adjustments, program verification, setup optimization, and machining troubleshooting.
• Inspect completed parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Verify engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Document inspection results, production data, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions, tooling improvements, preventive maintenance, process improvements, and cross-functional production activities.

Requirements

• Must be eligible under U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulations as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
• Associate degree or technical certification in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, machining technology, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining, precision machining, manufacturing, or related production operations.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing drawings, GD&T, shop mathematics, cutting tools, tooling selection, and quality requirements.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments, CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens, and manufacturing software.
• Experience with MES, ERP, and electronic work instruction systems such as Epicor, SAP, or Solumina.
