What you will do

• Operate vertical turning centers to machine forgings made from super alloys for aerospace applichirify.globalons.
• Read and interpret dimension drawings, sketches, tool setup sheets, and manufacturing instructions.
• Use operhirify.globalonal drawings to determine dimensions, machine travel, and required tolerances.
• Inspect dimensions and surface finishes with micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, profilometers, and other measuring devices.
• Load and unload parts using an overhead hoist and handle materials safely.
• Work with engineering, programming, CNC machining, and cross-functional teams to meet customer specifichirify.globalons.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a transferable industry.
• Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension.
• Basic knowledge of machining principles and the ability to read technical instructions.
• Strong analytical, communichirify.globalon, organizhirify.globalon, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborhirify.globalvely, lift up to 50 pounds, and complete a pre-employment evaluhirify.globalon.
• Immigrhirify.globalon sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vo-Tech certificate or associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
