Systems Engineer E3 (Semiconductor)

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems that meet market requirements.
• Develop system engineering specifications and coordinate subsystem requirements with project marketing and management.
• Lead architecture brainstorming, evaluate design approaches, and drive selection of final subsystem architectures.
• Build or procure prototypes, qualify designs, and test subsystem compliance with detailed specifications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot engineering problems involving serviceability, manufacturability, integration, and reliability.
• Support system integration, final product testing, and field personnel remotely and onsite as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related discipline.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with multidisciplinary systems involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
• Ability to analyze requirements, define architectures, write system specifications, and coordinate verification testing.
• Based in or able to work from Austin, Texas, United States.
