Senior Finance Manager (SaaS)

Location: Primarily in-office at the Santa Clara, California office, in accordance with company policies.

Annual base salary: $168,000–$252,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Lead global top-line forecasting across pipeline, bookings, revenue, and margin for the subscription business.
• Develop and maintain P&L, capex, forecasting, and investment models in partnership with Accounting.
• Analyze ARR, bookings, retention, churn, expansion, and gross margin metrics.
• Translate financial and operational data into executive-ready insights, visuals, and recommendations.
• Partner with Business Unit, Product, GTM, Pricing, Operations, and Accounting leaders on planning, pricing, investments, and business reviews.
• Build scalable forecasting, reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics with Data Engineering and Business Systems teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience supporting a subscription, SaaS, recurring-revenue, or consumption-based business.
• Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, including complex P&L and forecasting models.
• Expertise in Excel and the ability to interpret ARR, bookings, revenue, retention, churn, expansion, and gross margin.
• Strong communication and business-partnership skills with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work primarily from the Santa Clara, California office, except during PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Nice to have

• Experience developing dashboards or financial reporting in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience in technology, Corporate FP&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting.
