Specialist, Vehicle Order Control (Automotive)

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; the role requires 4–5 days per week in the office, regular in-person meetings and occasional travel for company events.

Base salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate and oversee vehicle orders from sales handover through manufacturing.
• Monitor material availability, production changes, facility changes, and order readiness for production.
• Manage order blocking, release, and scrapping according to requirements, communicating status and decisions.
• Interface with Production Steering, Production Control, and production planning teams.
• Track delivery-date performance, report deficiencies, and coordinate recovery plans for delayed orders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly order-management reports and support VDA/BMS requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
• 4+ years of order management or order fulfillment experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency with ERP and planning software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business-report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, explain complex issues clearly, and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Ability to work in the Blythewood office 4–5 days per week and attend in-person meetings and events.
