Director, Talent Acquisition (Fintech)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; office-based position with 5–10% travel

Salary: $166,700–$216,800 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing team of recruiters supporting the Product and CMS businesses.
• Develop and implement strategic, scalable talent acquisition processes aligned with workforce goals.
• Manage recruiting pipelines, performance metrics, reporting, process improvements, and operational compliance.
• Use recruiting data and analytics to identify challenges, improve candidate experience, and guide hiring decisions.
• Partner with Inclusion, HR, business, and global Talent Acquisition teams to strengthen diverse talent pipelines.
• Lead recruiting initiatives across sourcing, coordination, onboarding, DE&I, compensation, and talent partnering functions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• At least 5 years of experience leading talent acquisition teams, including recruiters or TA managers in hybrid or distributed environments.
• Experience with applicant tracking and HCM systems, including Workday Recruiting.
• Advanced reporting and data analytics skills, including pipeline analysis and actionable leadership insights.
• Strong expertise in talent acquisition strategy, process design, project management, stakeholder management, and data-based decision-making.
• Experience hiring, coaching, developing, and leading recruiting teams through organizational change.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Experience leading multiple TA managers and recruiting teams in remote or hybrid environments.
• Expertise in workforce planning, operational excellence, emerging sourcing tools, talent intelligence platforms, and market insights.
• Experience operating in a matrixed organization and advising senior-level stakeholders.
