Annual base compensation: $204,500–$295,000

What you will do

• Own product quality strategy and execution across infrastructure, platforms, data, applications, APIs, agents, and MCP-based systems.
• Lead and grow a quality engineering organization of more than 40 engineers and managers, including hiring, coaching, career development, and performance management.
• Drive AI-led transformation of quality engineering processes, tooling, automation, and test infrastructure.
• Define quality engineering practices, frameworks, quality gates, observability strategy, and monitoring across product lines.
• Own incident management, root cause analysis, governance, audit, compliance, and quality reporting.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security leadership while reporting quality metrics, release risk, and readiness to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12–15+ years of software quality or test engineering experience.
• 5–8+ years of quality engineering leadership or people management experience, including scaling organizations of 40+ engineers.
• Deep expertise in functional, integration, end-to-end, performance/load, and robustness testing.
• Experience with large-scale distributed and data systems, GCP, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD platforms, observability, incident management, governance, audit, and compliance.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and agile collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a Master of Science in Quality Assurance.
• Experience integrating AI and automation into quality engineering.
• Experience with backend data processing, data pipelines, AI agents, or MCP-based systems.
• Familiarity with LogDNA, Datadog, Kibana, or Tableau.
