Senior Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii

Salary: $166K–$203K in starting total cash, including base salary; equity offered and no bonus

What you will do

• Architect and build provider onboarding capabilities for internal and external users and workflows.
• Develop custom tools and integrate industry solutions across pricing, payments, client panels, and forms.
• Drive product architecture and operational solutions for a new Provider Onboarding engineering domain.
• Lead the full development lifecycle from planning and specification through launch measurement and maintenance.
• Mentor engineers, review architectures, and establish design patterns.
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working on healthcare or equivalent systems and at least 1 year contributing to a new project or team.
• Fullstack experience building modern SQL or NoSQL database-backed web applications.
• Experience with microservices, complex projects, and sustainable delivery.
• Experience driving development lifecycle phases, mentoring engineers, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.
• Must be based in the United States; Hawaii is currently excluded.

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Experience building SaaS applications with AWS.
• Experience with high-reliability or high-accuracy products, such as finance or mission-critical systems.
• On-call experience and the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex issues.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Kafka.
