What you will do

• Design, implement, and execute test plans for embedded firmware, software applications, instrument communications, command interfaces, user experiences, and customer workflows.
• Create and maintain automated tests, scalable test frameworks, and supporting infrastructure.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, isolate root causes, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
• Review requirements and design documentation to develop verification strategies and ensure test coverage.
• Document verification results, track progress, and communicate risks, findings, and recommendations.
• Support planning, risk assessment, release readiness, and continuous improvement of verification processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software verification, firmware verification, or related test engineering.
• Experience testing integrated software, firmware, and hardware systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Git and Jira.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks, creating verification documentation, and translating requirements into test strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital multimeters, source measure units, oscilloscopes, power supplies, switch systems, data acquisition systems, or similar test equipment.
• Familiarity with Lua, C#, or C++.
• Knowledge of SCPI, VISA, IVI, or LXI instrument-control technologies.
• Experience testing USB, LAN/Ethernet, GPIB, or RS-232 interfaces.
