Staff Platform Product Manager (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base salary: $188,500–$255,000 per year, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and daily execution for a coding agent within the Web Development Platform.
• Define customer outcomes, success criteria, and metrics for AI agent capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, design, and research to ship and iterate platform capabilities quickly.
• Use customer feedback and production data to prioritize roadmap investments.
• Balance quality, delivery speed, and cost, and communicate trade-offs to engineers and executives.
• Work across QuickBooks product teams to bring the capability to customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of an AI agent technical product or platform.
• Experience shipping AI agents to production at scale.
• Experience with agent evaluations and defining success criteria.
• Experience building or working closely with an agent harness.
• Active personal or professional use of AI coding agents.
• Founder mentality, high agency, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong bias toward shipping.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, platforms, or software-generating products.
• Experience with data, analytics, or reporting products.
• Background in a domain where accuracy has significant customer consequences.
