Product Manager, App Foundations (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York City, NY; or Seattle, WA. Hybrid policy requires staff to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for the App Foundations product area.
• Design reusable capabilities that extend across Claude products, including memory, voice mode, and artifacts.
• Translate frontier model capabilities into simple and intuitive experiences for a broad consumer audience.
• Use product metrics, experimentation, quantitative analysis, and user research to understand behavior and prioritize improvements.
• Partner with design, engineering, data science, research, and marketing to ship high-impact improvements quickly.
• Balance rapid iteration with AI safety and ethical considerations while maintaining a high bar for product quality.

Requirements

• Experience working on products used by millions of people.
• Strong product judgment, analytical ability, experimentation skills, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Technical background or the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to translate emerging model capabilities into compelling product experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.
• Passion for AI technology and its impact on society, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

• 8+ years of product management experience across consumer and enterprise products.
• Founder experience.
• AI product experience.
• Experience with both B2C and B2B products.
