Senior Full Stack Developer (React)

Location: Fully remote, candidates must be based within the United Kingdom. An office in Manchester is available for employees who prefer to work from a physical location.

Salary: £75,000–£90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Build new functionality across the core platform, React-based editor, and supporting cloud services.
• Develop solutions for web, desktop, cloud, and edge environments using React and Node.
• Write scalable, maintainable code focused on performance, reliability, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve application and API issues across local and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with designers, Unity developers, and technical teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to technical discovery, architecture decisions, planning, roadmap discussions, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with React and Node.
• Practical experience with AI technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, AI APIs, integrations, RAG, or orchestration frameworks.
• Good working knowledge of Python and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQLite.
• Experience with ORMs, ideally TypeORM, plus Docker, containerisation, and AWS.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, architecture, and API development.
• Must be based within the United Kingdom and comfortable working collaboratively in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of agentic architectures or MCP.
• Electron development experience.
• Material UI, Storybook, Unity, WebGL, or other interactive technology experience.
• Exposure to virtual reality, immersive technology, or interactive learning platforms.
