Software Engineer II, Fullstack (Ads Platform)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay: $165,000–$225,000 per year in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT; $146,000–$206,000 per year in other U.S. states.

What you will do

• Break down larger software projects into phases and deliver individual tasks with support from technical leadership.
• Build and ship web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React.
• Design, develop, and launch scalable APIs using Python or Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs.
• Create and monitor operational metrics, support on-call activities, and maintain service availability.
• Participate in code reviews, interviews, and team growth activities.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web applications with React or similar declarative UI frameworks.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale with Python or Kotlin.
• Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components.
• Strong coding, testing, debugging, code review, and communication skills.
• A related Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
