Organizational Design Consultant

Location: Remote within the United States, based in the EST or CST time zone; client hours required. Travel to client sites may be required, typically up to 25%.

What you will do

• Deliver client projects and assignments on time, within budget, and according to quality and brand standards.
• Support project managers with client delivery and develop a deep understanding of client organizations, operations, and operating models.
• Develop, deploy, and use organizational strategy and operations frameworks.
• Translate assessments, issues, and insights into documents, organizational tools, and data models.
• Develop industry-focused perspectives and competitive analyses.
• Advance intellectual capital, tools, and frameworks within organizational strategy and strategy and operations.

Requirements

• At least four years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or continuous improvement; a PhD may count toward work experience.
• An accredited US or Canadian bachelor's or graduate degree, preferably in engineering, business, computer science, mathematics, or another research-oriented field.
• Experience across assessment, design, implementation, operationalization, and long-term management of consulting objectives.
• Experience in organizational design areas such as operating models, workforce planning, job architecture, talent management, HR operations, analytics, M&A, outsourcing, and workforce transformation.
• Strong skills in research, data analysis, lean or continuous improvement, change management, writing, and presentations, with knowledge of technology and financials.
• Ability to work EST or CST client hours and travel to client sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Portfolio and project management experience.
• Ability to leverage AI tools.
• Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, PMI, or PMP certification.
• Deep business acumen in a relevant industry, strong curiosity, and self-directed learning ability.
