Field Service Technician I (Micro-Contamination Monitoring)

Location: On-site at an industry partner site in Pennsylvania, with regional travel; travel is 50% initially and may rise to 100% by 2028.

Salary: $29–$43 per hour, depending on experience.

hirify.global develops and manufactures micro-contamination monitoring equipment, including light-scattering particle counters, for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.

What you will do

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment.
• Support customer calibration and maintenance of micro-contamination monitoring systems.
• Research customer problems and complaints and provide timely service.
• Coordinate customer needs with internal departments.
• Improve service processes for efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics or a military equivalent.
• At least one year of previous Electronics Technician experience.
• Ability to read schematics in English.
• Ability to troubleshoot with minimal guidance and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Pennsylvania and travel regionally, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lasers and/or collecting and condensing optics.
