DevOps Specialist

Location: Remote within LATAM; preferred countries are Mexico and Argentina; working hours aligned to LATAM time zones with occasional overlap with Spain-based teams.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes and support application lifecycle management.
• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, and version-control practices.
• Deploy and support applications on Kubernetes platforms and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Develop automation scripts with Python, Bash, or Groovy; monitor performance and improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, QA, and infrastructure teams; participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis and serve as a Spanish-speaking stakeholder contact when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise software development environments and cloud-native applications.
• Strong experience implementing CI/CD platforms and working within Agile and DevOps delivery models.
• Experience working with distributed international teams.
• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline design, release management, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container deployment and operations, and basic cluster troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, version-control best practices, Python, Bash, Groovy, SonarQube, and Harbor Registry.
• Strong communication, client-facing experience, problem-solving, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent Spanish communication skills for interaction with Spanish-speaking stakeholders and client representatives.
