On-Site Service Engineer (Laboratory Automation)

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; initial training in Bloomfield, Connecticut and other locations for approximately 2–3 months. Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, with occasional shift changes, on-call, weekend, holiday, and after-hours work.

Salary: $36–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Propel, Matrix, and Propel Plate Accelerator laboratory automation systems.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance to improve equipment performance and uptime.
• Install automation equipment at customer sites and execute Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Perform system upgrades, qualifications, validation activities, and testing.
• Provide customer technical support, resolve service requests, and train operators on equipment use and maintenance.
• Maintain service inventory and complete maintenance, service, time, and customer documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering, electronics, robotics, mechatronics, mechanical technology, electrical technology, or another technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of field service experience supporting complex automation systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems, plus diagnostic methodologies.
• Experience with diagnostic tools such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and micrometers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship is required; H-1B, OPT/CPT, EAD, and other temporary work authorization are not accepted.
