Phlebotomist Part-time

Location: Vernon, New Jersey, United States of America. Onsite work in a Patient Service Center or client office, with travel to additional sites when needed.

Pay: $17.75–$26.00 per hour, with potential eligibility for a quarterly performance-based incentive.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service to patients and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification or training used in place of experience must come from an accredited agency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven customer-service track record.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision; reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and pass a standardized color-blindness test.

Nice to have

• Six months or more of phlebotomy experience.
