Float Phlebotomist

Location: Vancouver and Portland Metro areas, with assignments in Vancouver, Portland, Yakima, Kennewick, Redmond, and Reno, United States. Travel to additional sites is required, and reliable transportation is necessary.

Pay: $20.00–$27.28 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour float incentive and mileage reimbursement.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel between patient service centers and client offices as needed.

Requirements

• Washington State-issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P) required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• At least 21 years old and able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime; rotating Saturdays may be required.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
• At least one year of mobile phlebotomy experience.
