Float MA - Medical Assistant

Location: Health Center Float; travel to multiple locations within the state and/or region, potentially across multiple states.

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and skill level.

What you will do

• Support primary care providers and deliver a consistent patient experience across multiple health center locations.
• Escort patients, clean and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Manage front-desk activities including scheduling, check-in and check-out, records requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Document patient information, process test results, conduct patient outreach, and help address gaps in care.
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment while covering absent teammates and vacancies on a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Ability to travel to different locations within the state or region and adapt to different work settings.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
