Float Medical Assistant

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; travel to multiple locations within the state and/or region is required.

Salary: $23.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support primary care physicians and deliver patient care across multiple health center locations.
• Escort patients, prepare and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Handle front-desk operations, including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Document patient information, process test results, communicate results, and conduct patient outreach.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies while coordinating handoffs and consistent procedures across different teams.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration where required by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within the state and/or region and maintain a flexible schedule for coverage needs.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration in locations where it is not legally required.
