HR Specialist with German (HR Tech)

Location: Romania (Remote-First); the role supports employees and clients across EMEA, including the Czech Republic.

Annual gross fixed pay: 658,400–823,000 CZK, plus variable compensation.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR contact for onboarding, employee lifecycle events, terminations, benefits, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Manage complex employee relations cases, attend sensitive meetings, and prepare legally sound documentation.
• Advise clients on employment contracts, labor law, risk mitigation, performance improvement plans, and salary changes.
• Build relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, HR legal advisors, and global mobility partners.
• Lead compliance governance, workload transitions, knowledge transfer, and global HR process improvement initiatives.
• Drive automation and AI adoption to optimize HR processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HR experience.
• Deep knowledge of regional labor laws and experience supporting complex employee relations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, Slack, and similar collaboration tools.
• Experience providing HR guidance across EMEA and supporting employee lifecycle operations.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Knowledge of the Employer of Record industry.
• Experience managing employee lifecycles in Germany or Austria.
