Senior Network Engineer - Data Center Networking

Location: Ashburn, Virginia, United States; onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional office presence Monday and Friday

Salary: $151,820–$191,250 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate large-scale data center networks, including networking for GPU clusters supporting AI training and inference.
• Build and scale High-Performance Networking fabrics with 400G and 800G infrastructure.
• Design, qualify, and validate new networking technologies and hardware.
• Coordinate data center builds and projects with Network Reliability Systems, Data Center Operations, Capacity Planning, Supply Chain, and Compute/ML teams.
• Contribute to automation and telemetry that improve network efficiency, reliability, and visibility.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and deploying large-scale data center CLOS fabrics.
• Experience with GPU clusters or AI/ML networking.
• Experience deploying and managing 400G and 800G networking hardware.
• Strong BGP configuration and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Ability to work at the Ashburn, Virginia data center with regular onsite presence Tuesday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of QoS, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, DWDM, commercial NAT, and open-source networking hardware and software.
