Monitor Technician-Central Telemetry Part Time Days

Location: 12251 S. 80th Av., Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite

Salary: $18.48–$24.95 per hour

What you will do

• Continuously monitor patients’ cardiac monitors through the central telemetry system.
• Identify normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms and rate changes.
• Promptly report significant cardiac rhythm and rate changes.
• Maintain accurate monitoring records.
• Communicate effectively and use basic computer systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework or one year of previous cardiac monitoring experience.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification.
• Part-time onsite schedule: 48 hours per pay period, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with alternating weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
