PRN Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (XR2) (On Call) (Pharmacy Automation)

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota, United States; daily commute required to 1406 6th Ave N, St. Cloud, MN 56303

Salary: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate hirify.global XR2 automation at customer sites according to standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Manage medication returns, restocking, and formulary inventory levels to support daily dispensing.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting of automation equipment.
• Monitor system trends, identify problems, resolve common issues, and escalate unresolved equipment concerns to the appropriate technical support team.
• Communicate with pharmacy operations managers and customers, provide customer-focused support, and maintain strong service relationships.
• Conduct training, maintain documentation and compliance records, and act as a subject-matter resource for team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active Minnesota State Pharmacy Technician registration or license is required.
• Active nationally certified pharmacy technician certification through PTCB, CPHT, or EXCPT is required.
• Organizational, communication, customer service, problem-solving, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to work with mechanical equipment and knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to stand for several hours, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in a hospital pharmacy environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugs.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with pharmacy automation.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• One year of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Two years of hospital pharmacy automation experience.
• Basic troubleshooting experience with automation devices.

• Monday–Friday shift availability from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; daily site attendance is required.
