Registered Nurse

Location: Denver, Colorado; onsite health center

Salary: $35.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners on additional evaluation and care.
• Perform and document screenings and medical tests, including EKG, audiometry, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical equipment, patient records, infection-control procedures, and a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the site contract.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.

Nice to have

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
