Intel Foundry Module Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $133,800–$255,200 USD.

What you will do

• Lead scientific research enabling innovative semiconductor device architectures and their realization.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications.
• Integrate individual process steps required to manufacture complex microprocessors.
• Participate in hirify.globallectual property development.
• Ramp technologies to manufacturing volumes and demonstrate that process requirements are met.
• Transfer technologies to manufacturing counterparts using the Copy Exactly Methodology.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or PhD with 1+ years of experience, in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related scientific STEM field.
• Hands-on experimental research experience.
• Experience in semiconductor processing, semiconductor fabrication, nanotechnology, or related chemical processing.
• Experience with process control systems, variability sources, methodologies, and statistics.
• Ability to work under the hybrid model in Hillsboro, Oregon, with time spent on-site.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience with wet etch, chemical development, or device fabrication.
• Experience leading projects and cross-functional teams.
• External foundry experience.
