Location: Austin, United States; hybrid working with office attendance generally required Monday through Thursday and flexible remote work on Fridays

What you will do

• Evolve hirify.globalOS system software and fundamental platform APIs used by internal teams and external SDKs.
• Design and implement APIs that enable channel partners to use modernized hirify.global platform capabilities.
• Refactor system software architecture and deliver extensive modular, maintainable changes without privileged workarounds.
• Develop high-performance, ultra-reliable C/C++ software for hirify.global devices at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align API designs with platform requirements and standards.
• Use AI tools, autonomous agents, and agentic workflows to accelerate development and improve code quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of C/C++ software development experience, including firmware, full-stack systems, architecture, and API design.
• 2+ years of Linux application development experience.
• Advanced AI proficiency, including building repeatable agentic workflows and autonomous AI agents beyond basic prompt usage.
• Experience with multithreaded and multiprocess development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software design skills.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
