Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Systems (AI)

What you will do

• Own sensor signal acquisition and conditioning, including ADC timing, filtering, integration, averaging, and calibration.
• Integrate new detectors and sensing elements, from board bring-up through production-ready drivers.
• Develop Zephyr firmware for detectors within the modular sensor stack.
• Address vibration, EMI, thermal drift, and other sources of signal noise.
• Build on-device calibration, coefficient storage, third-party calibration procedures, and sensor provisioning.
• Ship drivers, OTA functionality, and health monitoring to connect sensors with the Edge Gateway.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building embedded software for sensors or instrumentation.
• Strong embedded C/C++ experience on microcontrollers and production experience with Zephyr.
• Fluency with devicetree, Kconfig, west, and the Zephyr device driver model.
• Experience designing filters, addressing sampling and aliasing, and designing and debugging signal chains.
• Analog knowledge covering ADCs, gain, references, grounding, and noise.
• Experience with optical and electrical sensing, emitters, production testing, hardware mocks, CI, and productionizing sensing methods.

Nice to have

• Experience taking sensing methodologies from prototype through deployed product.
