Salary: $168,300–$297,000 USD annually, depending on location zone.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and priorities for Square’s post-checkout customer experience across food ordering and retail ecommerce.
• Connect product improvements across Square teams and external partners to create a consistent customer experience.
• Design customer journeys for order tracking, delivery updates, refunds, and issue resolution with design and engineering.
• Use AI and automation to streamline research, analysis, prototyping, product development, and launch activities.
• Prototype and test improvements with customers, use GitHub and pull requests to contribute changes, and work with engineers to ship to production.
• Measure customer understanding, resolution speed, satisfaction, and repeat purchases after launch.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience shipping customer-facing products at scale and simplifying complex experiences.
• Hands-on experience using AI to build prototypes, automate recurring work, and test product ideas.
• Ability to use GitHub and developer tools to make changes and submit pull requests.
• Strong product strategy, prioritization, customer research, analytical judgment, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• High attention to product quality, user experience, and interaction design.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer products, ecommerce, marketplaces, or customer support.
• Curiosity about business operations and the factors that build customer trust.
