Business Insurance Underwriting Professional Development Program Internship (BI UPDP Intern)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future. No H-1B, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT sponsorship is available. Housing assistance is not provided.

Hourly salary: $25.00–$26.00.

What you will do

• Complete core assignments and training modules covering insurance and underwriting principles.
• Complete professional development courses in time management, presentation skills, and related areas.
• Perform meaningful project work, including territorial risk assessments and business process analyses, independently or with other interns.
• Present project findings to local leadership.
• Use analytical and artificial intelligence tools while evaluating the quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs.
• Learn about Risk Control, Claims, related corporate functions, and agency operations through visits with Account Executives.

Requirements

• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future is required.
• Pursuing or having obtained a Bachelor's degree is required.
• Preferred fields include Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Liberal Arts with a business focus, Management, Marketing, and Risk Management and Insurance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
