Lead Business Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead complex healthcare revenue cycle analytics for client engagements.
• Analyze chargemaster, pricing, claims, remittance, payer contract, adjustment, denial, underpayment, and payment data.
• Evaluate pricing and reimbursement methodologies, billing practices, payer performance, utilization, and revenue opportunities.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, reports, and recurring analytics to support recommendations and business decisions.
• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple healthcare data sources.
• Present findings and recommendations, document analytical methodologies, and partner with Finance, Patient Financial Services, Coding, Managed Care, IT, Pharmacy, and other departments.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of relevant experience.
• Relevant degree preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience analyzing large, complex healthcare datasets.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including chargemaster maintenance, pricing, billing, reimbursement, claims, denials, underpayments, and accounts receivable.
• Understanding of pharmacy revenue cycle processes, CMS policies, and healthcare reimbursement requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements independently.
