Business Banking Client Specialist Sr (Lending)

Location: Bay City, MI; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Coordinate Relationship Managers, borrowers, sellers, attorneys, brokers, EROs, underwriters, closers, title companies, and banking markets throughout the loan closing process.
• Collect due diligence, order third-party reports, and distribute documents for review.
• Prepare complex loan commitment letters, application documents, compliance materials, and loan commitment packages.
• Review commitment letters for accuracy and establish closing dates, schedules, and document distribution.
• Guide prospective borrowers through lending requirements and resolve complex customer situations.
• Mentor less experienced Loan Specialists and support colleagues with difficult lending matters.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Understanding of the banking industry and lending regulations.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required.
