EMR Market Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, Texas, with travel within assigned regional markets and on-site support as needed; approximately 30% travel

What you will do

• Develop regional EMR training content, curricula, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Train and coach clinical and business leaders and staff on EMR best practices, documentation quality, and workflow efficiency.
• Provide EMR expertise during acquisitions, mergers, go-live events, and facility implementations.
• Act as the regional EMR subject matter expert, supporting troubleshooting, optimization, integrations, and third-party vendor tools.
• Lead clinical and financial project rollouts, evaluation initiatives, Pharmacy Connect integrations, and eMAR backup processes.
• Consolidate clinical data, analyze trends, support audits, and report on EMR utilization and adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with EMR systems in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with training, curriculum development, coaching, project rollouts, evaluations, and system integrations.
• Analytical experience with data consolidation, trend analysis, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ability to travel within assigned regional markets and provide on-site support; approximately 30% travel.
